Restaurants (Table Service)

Everywhere you look at Disney, you’ll see restaurants and food courts.  I will touch upon what I consider ‘the best’.  Remember, you can eat at the hotels without staying at the hotels.  If you are planning on eating at one of the parks, you’ll need a ticket to get in.

Cat Cora’s at the Boardwalk:  The menu is leaning towards Mediterranean which I didn’t think I’d like but their fish stew is absolutely divine!

O’hana’s at the Polynesian:  All you can eat meat on a stick.  Plus appetizers of pot stickers, salad, and delicious chicken wings.

Chef Mickey’s:  It is the best of all character meals.  Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Donald.  Plus a good buffet.

MAGIC KINGDOM:  Not a fan of any table service food here.

EPCOT:  There are a LOT of places to eat here.  Every country has something great plus there’s the Land restaurant which is a great character meal.  However my favorites are listed below:

Japan:  the Japanese Steakhouse

England:  the Rose and Crown Pub, plus it is a great place to watch the fireworks

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:  A bunch of great themed table service meals can be had here.

Brown Derby:  The Cobb Salad is amazing.  It is on as an appetizer but it is enough for two for lunch.  I have ordered it for lunch and dinner, served with the best bread but I always regrettably leave some behind.  I think it is enough for two as a meal (not an appetizer).

50s Prime Time Cafe:  Love it because it is the 1950s.  Plus they are very good at accommodating your tastes.  I felt sick once and it was incredibly hot.  They made me up a salad that was not on the menu with some chicken breast.  Delicious!

Sci-Fi Dine In Theater:  Eat in a car from the 50s while watching old clips from B movies.  Need I say more?

ANIMAL KINGDOM:  No favorites here although Rainforest Cafe is a hit or miss.  Sometimes quite good but others it is not!
